I am not sure if it is the benefit of a self-watering pot or was it just more soil in a bigger plant that attributed to the baby spring onion's excellent growth just three weeks after moving them from round food containers to the self watering pot.
Progress of 3 baby carrots in DIY milk bottles. Last time I grew carrot in DIY milk bottles, it was a success. The carrot was shaped well as there was no competition with neighbour plants, stick to one milk bottle, one carrot.
The chilli is covered with pest. I had to trim it down, removing all dead leaf. Fertiliser (blood and bone) has been sprinkled on the soil. Weather is turning warmer, hope it will produce fruits again.
The unexpected frosty weather last week killed my potato leaves and branches. I have no choice but to harvest them prematurely. The results were disappointing. Not that many potato and certainly not big enough.
